Biography:
Mehdi Boumalki, actor and actor, winner of the Casablanca Conservatory of Dramatic Art in 2015, began his career with the Troupe du Territoire, playing in plays such as “Roberto Zucco” by Bernard-Marie Koltès, “Endgame” by Samuel Beckett and “Comic Testament” by Guy Vassal, as well as in various other projects. In 2016, he co-founded the 19h Théâtre troupe, dedicated to the creation of Moroccan plays in Darija, with which he produced four professional plays. In 2016, he also joined the JAA troupe for the project “Kabareh Cheikhats”, where he performed songs and dances from the Moroccan folk heritage. He has also been a member of the Moroccan Impro League in Rabat since 2015. Alongside the theater, Mehdi turned to cinema and television, winning the lead role in a comedy series in 2017, followed by four other series. He has also appeared in foreign productions such as “Homeland” and “The Bureau of Legends.” As a theater teacher, he has taught in several training institutions. In 2020, Mehdi moved to Canada and began training at the École Supérieure de Théâtre de l'UQAM, graduating in 2023. He participated in two school productions, “Les Brigands” by Frédéric Schiller, directed by Maxime Denommé, and “Top Dogs”, directed by Michel-Maxime Legault. Currently, he is part of the young troupe of the Théâtre des 4 Sous and the collective of the Théâtre Français du CN.
